Product Manager - Metal Building Daylighting

Product Manager PRO Products

As a Product Manager, you will develop and execute the long-term product development strategy for the PRO Product business and deliver value added concepts for each product line within the offering across selected channels of specification. This requires working cross-functionally and at all levels of the global organization to seek input, gain knowledge and ensure development of existing or new product offerings to the PRO marketplace. You will function as the central person of authority for information about the brand, including production specifications, market product placement and market opportunities. Responsibilities also include monitoring marketplace trends, market pricing, promotional/creative positioning, engineering development assistance, product improvements and new product development.

Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

· Report direct to Director of Sales
· Manage existing product offering
· Expand existing product offering
· Establish and create new product offering into existing or diverse marketplaces
· Work with customers and prospects engineering staff to jointly create opportunities using existing technology

· Joint sales calls with PRO Market sales representatives and independent sales representatives
· Manage specifications and work with internal engineering and technical support teams to develop existing and produce new product introductions
· Participate in Regional / National Trade Shows and Trade Associations to network market opportunities
· Generate specifications and deliver informative presentations to the architectural/C.S.I. community
· Obtain competitive product information
· Oversee sales tools for current / updated applications
· Formulate Market Product Plan that emphasizes short term and long term planning for maintaining and growing market share
