Application/Operations Manager- Healthcare Payment

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an EDI and Claims Specialist. They are a rapidly growing financial services company focused on healthcare that has established itself as a true innovator and leader in the $30 billion market segment of healthcare payments. This person will function as a Real-Time clearinghouse and payment processor for healthcare. They are committed to delivering innovation and dramatic cost savings within the healthcare industry. Through its mission of simplifying the healthcare payment process, they offer a variety of work experience and an unbeatable platform from which to build a career in a high performance workplace with the top talent in the healthcare and financial services industries.Additional Responsibilities:

  • More Payment Focused
  • Payment processing
  • Supporting the Financial Side
  • Support EDI transaction processing applications
  • Respond to direct customer inquiries and cases assigned by a Supervisor
  • Research, document, and escalate cases according to procedure
  • Perform root-cause analysis, develop logical conclusions, and suggest appropriate workarounds
  • Submit high quality solutions for development of a knowledge base


The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
  • Outstanding ability to acquire and apply new technical and industry knowledge quickly
  • Strong ability to present and effectively communicate resolutions to issues
  • Sound judgment in setting customer expectations and managing sensitive customer situations
  • Deep knowledge of X12 healthcare EDI standards
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and claims is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong technical skills
The right candidate will come from a clearinghouse or provider or hospital group. e.g. Business Analyst.Required Skills:
