Position Title: Client Project Manager Position Summary: Client-facing project manager responsible for managing/coordinating the activities of multiple complex implementation and conversion projects; ensures that project objectives, plans and schedules are prepared, reviewed/approved and implemented in a timely fashion; establishing objectives for all assigned projects, for setting the direction for the project team. Problem solving is focused on resolution of business issues confronting the projects. These issues arise at the functional level, cross-functional level and cross-project level. The resolution of problems requires knowledge of company policies to identify appropriate courses of action. Essential Functions: 1. Project Management Implements projects on schedule per Online Resources budget goals. Follows formal project execution standards. Assists in documenting formal project process documentation in conjunction with Manager, Client Project Management. For each project, identify and monitor: overall project timeline, project milestones, project risks and mitigation strategies, tasks, resources, dependencies and critical paths. This includes advising the Financial Institution of the various options associated with Online Resources standard and/or custom services. Interact with external third parties, including resellers and Financial Institutions vendors, such as core processors and EFT authorizers to facilitate the implementation of services. Coordinate with such vendors to ensure accurate requirements and roll out processes. Escalates appropriately, keeping management apprised of risks. Coordinates the inter-disciplinary activities of project team members in their capacity as team members. This is a matrix management function shared with the team members Direct Management. 2. Professional Services Consults with manager as appropriate for SOW creation. Collaborates with client business executives, sales, and/or client project manager to ensure client is guided to best solution. 3. General Management Participates in process re-engineering efforts in collaboration with Manager, Client Project Management and staff. Consults with Manager, Client Project Management on escalations to help clients understand potential solutions to issues. Creates weekly status report. Updates time reporting daily. 4. Technical Proficiency Participate in training team on product, organizing formal or brown bag seminars on a regular basis. Coordinates with Manager, Client Project Management to update processes and documentation as necessary for new product releases. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience. Required Certifications: Project Management Professional certification a plus. Required Skills: 1. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 2. Previous experience managing client-facing projects. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment. 4. Strong organizational skills. 5. Familiar with Office Suite including Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook. 6. Ability to work independently, knowing when to seek guidance. Desired Skills: 1. Previous financial industry experience. 2. Previous experience managing business process re-engineering process. 3. Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas. These relationships will be at the subordinate, peer and supervisor levels.
