Position Description:

SUMMARY: Supervises the operations, personnel, and sales and services functions of a branch under the general guidance of the Branch Manager or Branch Services Manager. May function as Branch Manager or Branch Services Manager in his/her absence. Manages branch by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors or employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops and maintains work schedules for branch staff to assure optimum service quality.Enforces audit and internal control policies. Assists the Branch Manager or Branch Services Manager with sales and service training, product training and staff development activities. Supervises branch cross-selling activities. Manages the recruitment, hiring, training, retention and development of subordinate branch staff. Provides performance appraisal and ratings, determination of goal attainment and recommends merit increase amounts for all direct reports, and assists subordinate supervisors with same for indirect reports. Determines needs of customers and provides appropriate assistance as necessary. Performs related operational, sales and administrative functions as directed by the Branch Manager or Branch Services Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 4 year degree preferred, from college or technical school; and up to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Exceptional written and verbal communication skill. Bilingual Mandarin or Cantonese highly preferred.
