Product Marketing Manager
Webroot is currently seeking a dynamic, strategic, and talented Product Marketing Manager to help drive Webroot’s leadership in the emerging Security Software as a Service (SaaS) market. This person will be responsible for owning and driving product marketing activities across all of Webroot’s business-focused solutions - email security, web security, endpoint security and email archiving. This Individual must be results driven and a strong decision maker with demonstrated ability to prioritize objectives and meet aggressive targets.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support product marketing initiatives for Webroot’s Enterprise product portfolio spanning Email Security, Web Security, Endpoint Security and Email Archiving solutions
- Work with product management team to define and incorporate key product features and benefits within sales and marketing materials
- Develop sales tools for all Enterprise products including datasheets, competitive battle cards, internal and external webinars, presentations, product announcements, sales training materials, etc.
- Analyze market dynamics including review of competitors and market trends
- Conceive, develop and support marketing and sales promotions for direct and indirect sales teams across multiple geographies
- Work across functional groups to plan and facilitate frequent product launch efforts
- Assist in developing unique product messaging and positioning including how to differentiate Webroot solutions from other security providers
- Communicate product/solution messaging to customers, prospects, analysts, journalists, and other market influencers
- Support development of product and service pricing strategies including new and existing services as well as cross-sell and up-sell pricing
- Support Enterprise Marketing team with content creation for quarterly partner and customer newsletters, marketing campaigns, website updates, product award submissions, etc.
- Work with Inside and Field sales teams to determine effectiveness of product marketing materials, programs, and Webroot solutions
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4-6 years experience in marketing technology products & solutions
- Minimum 2 years of domain experience within a security related environment (e.g. email security, web security, endpoint security, gateway anti-malware, etc.); experience within a security software as a service (SaaS) environment a plus
- Experience marketing to SMB and mid-enterprise customers (100 to 5000 employee organizations) and their resellers
- Strong data and financial analysis skills with ability to make sound business recommendation to drive business value
- Excellent communication skills, both written and presentation
- Experience within a start-up / fast-paced environment
- Outstanding team player with strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills
