Job Description
You will become a key member of the PwC National Tax Process Office (TPO) and join a select team of technology specialists leading the implementation of 3rd party provision technology platforms. In addition, as part of the Tax Provision Technology Team, you will become familiar with a broad scope of provision technology applications available on the market and develop subject matter expertise as to the functionality and performance of these tools.
Your primary role will be to work with local engagement teams implementing TaxStream and other 3rd party provision applications for our clients having global operations. You will assume a critical project management role and bring unique technical and technology expertise to these engagements. You will be supported by a TPO senior and/or associate and by members of the local engagement team and report directly to the Industry Engagement Partner on each project with support from the National TPO leadership.
The scope of our engagements typically include project planning, communication with stakeholders, assessing data requirements, devising a data collection plan, understand the legal entity structure, set up categories for deferred items within the application, automate computations, design and deliver management reports, lead or facilitate user training, vendor collaboration and client management. You will also use and develop general process improvement skills as you lead these engagements since re-designing domestic and global Tax Provision processes is a critical component of technology implementation engagements.
