Description :
Test engineer to join the growing Enterprise Networking Group in qualifying high-speed broadband networking devices.
Job duties include
- Work with circuit design engineers and architects in generating comprehensive test plans and strategies for broadband Mix-signal ASIC, both at the PHY and the MAC layers.
- Develop bench test methodologies, procedures and scripts for functional block and physical layer for broadband Mix-signal ASIC.
- Perform and lead the bench testing of ASIC electrical parameters across multiple ICs and ensure timely completion of the task.
- Generate comprehensive test reports and analysis.
- Work with IC designers on failure isolation.
Job Requirements :
1. MSEE or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (or equivalent).
2. High-speed broadband communications environment experience.
3. Must have 1-2 years working experience in developing and performing electrical parameter test of broadband Mix-signal ASIC using laboratory bench equipments and/or Automatic Test Equipment.
4. Strong Analog background/experience is required.
5. Understand the operation and principle of following high speed laboratory equipments is required - digital scope, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Logic Analyzer, Bit Error Rate Tester, Waveform Generator and Function/Pulse Generator
6. Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
7. Understand the fundamental of following circuit is strongly desired - RF and/or high-speed broadband communication transmitter and receivers, filters, PLL, CDR, ADC, DCA, AGC, and equalizer.
8. Familiar with test methods and test standards for serial interface electrical/optical performance and compliance testing of following industry standards is required - IEEE 802.3ae, IEEE 802.3an and IEEE 802.3ap.
9. Familiar with any of the following programming language is required - Visual Basic, Visual C++, C and Assembly languages.
