Job Description:
- Responsible for the administration, maintenance and management of computer systems at the operating system and infrastructure level
- Builds, configures, troubleshoots and integrates new and existing servers to provide service enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure up-grades
- Database Administration, to include Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL Experience
- Recommends software and hardware enhancements, diagnoses and corrects issues, defines and implements new services with the goal of achieving maximum server up-time and availability for the customers
- Responsible for monitoring performance, and system usage
- Contributes towards the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), back-up systems and disk configurations
- Conducts system analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies
- Performs IA Scans and IAVA updates
- Basic understanding of the DOD security policies
- Basic Networking Knowledge
Qualifications:
- Requires a BS in Engineering or equivalent related field experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Proven systems administration and troubleshooting ability
- Experience with maintaining web interfaces and database administration
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Strong MS Windows 2000/2003 and Linux experience a plus
