The Meriter Health Services Contracting Department is looking for a Financial Analyst II. The position assists in the financial analysis of all aspects of managed care contracting for the Meriter Health Services Inc. companies, with a focus on Meriter Hospital. The financial analysis is used in managed care contract negotiations, monitoring of payments received to ensure compliance with contractual terms, and assisting in preparing the Meriter Hospital budget. This position also provides data to operating departments to improve understanding of contracts in place and reimbursement. Additionally, the position works on ad-hoc projects to understand the reimbursement of both existing and new product lines.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience. They will also have three years professional experience in an analytical role, be fluent in the use of Excel, and have strong communication skills. Previous experience with managed care contracts and an understanding of hospital reimbursement is desired, but not required, along with Crystal report writing skills and knowledge of other software products such as Word and Access. | | |
