This position will serve as the on-site KY technical liaison for the remote ACS HMS development team. Direct interface with the State’s technical leadership will be expected making superior technical communication skills (written/verbal) pivotal.
Specific detailed requirements include:
- Proven experience as software architect in a large N-tier web development project.
- Demonstrated skill and ability developing application-to-application communication interfaces utilizing web services architecture using XML, SOAP, and WSDL.
- Demonstrated high level skill and expert programming knowledge using Microsoft .NET technologies to develop web based applications; Demonstrated high level skill and ability to write programs in C#.
- Proven experience with web application security including SSL and SSO standards.
- Experience with hospital system integration, HL7, familiarity and past working-level exposure to HL7, clinical document architecture and related standards such as HITSP C32, PHIN
- Working level experience with Enterprise Master Patient Index, Record Location RLS
- Must have an understanding of Health Information Exchange (IHE) topology and architecture.
- Experience with Admission Discharge & Transfer (ADT) observation results and medical record messaging
- Experience with hospital systems such as HL7 translation engines such as BizTalk, Rosetta, Seagate, Chameleon, NeoTools.
Salary/rates will be reflective of experience with the above requirements.
Position requires 80% onsite for the next 4-6 months in Lexington, KY.
Knowledge and Skill Required
- Demonstrated skill and expert programming knowledge using Microsoft .NET technologies to develop web based applications; Demonstrated skill and ability to write programs in C#.
- Demonstrated skill and ability in the development of database application systems.
- Demonstrated skill and ability in interfacing programmatically with a variety of enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated skill and ability developing application-to-application communication interfaces utilizing web services architecture using XML, SOAP, and WSDL.
- Demonstrated skill and ability designing, and maintaining a robust development environment that ensures version control, testing, and deployment of enterprise wide information systems.
- Demonstrated advanced experience in reviewing and trouble-shooting complex code designs written by multiple developers, reverse engineering, and identifying incompatibilities.
- Ability to initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, managers and supervisors, and customers/clients.
- Skill in working with Web browsers, image-manipulation and databases, and other Web software tools.
- Thorough understanding of relational database design and implementation.
- Exposure to 3.0 Framework a plus.
