Job Description:
The Sr. Marketing Analyst will support the marketing and sales teams by developing and managing market/competitive data, performing custom pricing analysis, and providing reporting and analysis support.
  • Perform custom pricing analysis for large enterprise, migration, and contract terms such as installed base repricing
  • Gather and analyze data to measure and track the performance of marketing programs against established goals and targeted ROI
  • Manage the overall pricing strategy of the wholesale business based on business objectives and industry benchmarking.
  • Follow industry trends & competitive landscape reporting out to broader team
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and planning (market sizing, incorporation of industry trends); track progress of programs against goals


Job Requirements:
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • A blend of business and technical skills with a track-record of successfully applying quantitative decision-making techniques in a business-setting
  • Experience with techniques and tools relevant to data and marketing analysis including knowledge of relational databases
  • Proficiency in Excel, database applications and other analysis tools used for modeling, report creation , and trend forecasting
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, juggle many tasks at once and quickly shift from one situation or task to another.
  • Bachelors degree with a focus on business, economics, operations research, engineering, computer science, math or related engineering/quantitative discipline; MBA/MS is desirable
  • 5 to 8 years prior experience in a quantitative, data-driven role with pricing or financial experience with a minimum two years experience in the carrier/CLEC industry.
