Sr. Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer

Job Description

Our client company is looking for analog and mixed-signal design engineers to contribute to the development of very high speed serial I/O and clock generation / distribution for SoC ICs. The candidate must have a proven record of designing complex ICs in state-of-the-art CMOS process technologies and have successfully placed products into volume production, preferably multiple times.

Experience

  • Minimum: Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, with 5+ years experience; Preferred: Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years experience or Ph. D in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience
  • High-speed serial I/O circuit design experience including one or more of the following: SerDes, Clock and Data Recovery, line drivers, PLLs, DLLs
  • Deep sub-micron process design experience at 130 nm and preferably at 90 nm or 65 nm
  • A track record of developing high volume commercial products
  • Working knowledge of industry best practices

Skills

  • Strong fundamentals in circuit theory and design
  • Creative design ability to solve problems demanding the highest levels of speed and power performance
  • Experienced in Cadence design flow
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Ability to work across functions and levels
