REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelors of Science degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Math, or Statistics from an accredited four year college or university.
· Completed courses in business statistics with at least one quantitative analysis course.
· Advanced PC skills a must. Familiarity with AS400 and some basic programming a plus. SQL Experience preferred.
· Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
· Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills, systems aptitude and experience
· Retail experience or interest

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pricing Management: Input category roles and item strategies in the form of rules and constraints into the pricing optimization system.
- Initiate pricing programs at the category/sku level to meet objectives and growth intent.
- Analyze current and historical results of pricing activity to identify actionable opportunities, develop ideas, and make recommendations for optimal financial performance of merchant categories.
- Establish databases of pertinent information for use in preparing management reports and analyzing financial results, future plans, projections, and forecasts
- Communication: Present recommendations and results across price zones for approval by product directors/merchandise managers/director or retail pricing.
- Provide the stores organization with price change information to enable execution.
- Merchant Relationships: Develop relationships with Merchant, Inventory, Visual teams. Build trust by proactively providing credible and value added support.
- Learn the important aspects of the supported business to become involved in their business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Drive change in company best methods and be a resource for strategic pricing system/process enhancements.
- Special projects: Work on special projects that have an impact on the entire Pricing Team and that provide company with benefits or improved performance.
