Director of Operations A local organization is accepting applications for the position of Director of Operations. This is a senior management position reporting directly to the Executive Director with broad responsibility for the delivery of transportation services. The position oversees all Operations Department functions, including personnel management; service scheduling; dispatching; employee safety and training; field supervision; and customer service. The position requires a BA/BS degree in operations management, logistics, administration or a related field, and a minimum of 10 yrs of progressively responsible experience. Relevant work experience will be considered in place of education. Must possess the ability to act decisively under pressure, meet critical deadlines, establish priorities, organize work schedules and communicate effectively. Proficiency with MS Office applications and a working knowledge of DOT motor carrier safety requirements is essential.
