Miles Media is America's leading publisher of high quality tourism destination print guides, websites and other interactive media. This SARASOTA FLORIDA HQ opening is for an Interactive Graphic Designer with exceptional experience in web page layout, and knowledge of print design

Our designers contribute to concept development and production of award-winning travel websites that inform and inspire potential visitors. These websites are content rich and balance beauty and usability. In print our design team uses modern layouts of editorial content with intriguing typography, innovative info graphics, eye-catching covers and high quality photography (think Wired, Metropolis, Esquire Magazines)

Successful candidates will need:

• excellent design skills in web page layout and innovative site navigation with emphasis on user goals and experience

• experience in editorial magazine design and production

• to give and take creative direction

• to contribute to a team environment

• to be proficient in Adobe CS4 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and have a solid working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Fireworks, CSS, html, Flash and JavaScript

Additional qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience. Bachelor in Graphic Design or equivalent. A great eye for graphic design and photography, superb attention to details. Good time management skills.
