Accounts Receivables Manager

We are currently working with our client in Windsor who is looking for an AR Manager. Our client is actively seeking a candidate that is able to manage and direct a team of accounts receivable (A/R) staff of approx. 15 to 20 FTE to improve department collections. Perform in-depth analysis of collections and outstanding payer balances. This position would require the candidate to design, recommend and implement process improvements within and outside of the department. Candidate would be required the develop and lead A/R initiatives to enhance systems and increase reporting scope. Candidate will also work cross-functionally with all departments to build and drive organizational strategies.

Working hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00AM-5:00PM

Candidate must have a BA or BS degree in Healthcare Management, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related degree. 10+ years of healthcare billing and collections experience and an in depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicare HMO, Commercial, and third party payers. Previous experience with CMS and HIPPA regulatory requirements is a must. 5+ years supervisory/managerial experience required. Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical ability. Process and systems oriented - Experience with workflow design and system implementation is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office software including excel and word.
