MasTec Advanced Technologies has an opening for a Human Resources Administrator located in Coral Gables, FL. This position takes the perfect combination of functional technical skills, human resources knowledge, financial reasoning, and project management skills to carry our corporate human resources initiatives. As part of the Human Resources Infrastructure team, this position will support a variety of customers from field human resources professionals to operational leaders. Duties: - Serves as project team member on selection and implementation of HR systems and solutions.
- Maintains systems by maintaining data integrity; identifying, researching, and analyzing problems; implementing improvements; updating training manuals, & user guides.
- Troubleshoots basic technical and non-technical problems - and act as the general liaison between internal customers & vendors, and other departments in the business.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; designing and preparing reports.
- Defines jobs by writing job descriptions, job qualifications, and job evaluation documentation.
- Works to validates job requirements by analyzing jobs, including interviewing knowledgeable persons; studying completed questionnaires; observing jobs being performed., including conducting pay surveys; analyzing pay data and calculating pay grades and ranges.
- Collaborates effectively with internal and external subject-matter experts to identify opportunities for and creates e-learning materials, including courses, activities, simulations, etc.
- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
Required Skills We’re Looking for Great People who: - Have a experience in the implementation and management of HR tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems, Performance Management Platforms, Learning Management Systems, Electronic On boarding.
- Are technically savvy, but not experts. This is not an IT position.
- Are an expert in analyzing Information to tell the story of the information presented.
- Can work with limited supervision and exercise a level of decision making
- Is comfortable working in an environment continually working towards Process Improvement
- Is familiar with laws that impact human resources
- Are able to pay Attention to Detail.
- Have experience working an environment governed by the OFCCP and have developed Affirmative Action Plan’s is helpful, but not required.
Required Experience To be Successful in this position you must: - have 3 or more years of experience in a human resources role.
- have a B.A or B.S in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field.
- PHR or SPHR is helpful, but not required.
- PMP is helpful, but not required.
- Be Action Oriented
- Be a great communicator, both verbally and written.
- Be an expert in personal computing, including mastery of excel, word, and power point.
- Be able to test negative on a pre-employment drug test.
- Meet our criminal and MVR (driving record) background screening criteria.
