Job Description
· Explain the benefit of specific product & service and determine customer needs. Communicate and meet with customers on a pro-active basis.
· Refer business opportunity to other units of the bank
· Cross selling of existing and new products & services to prospects and existing clients
· Proactively Cross selling cash management, Investment and loan products to the appropriate units.
Customer Service
· Prepare documents for opening deposit accounts and loan applications for high net-worth clients
· Process customer transactions in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures, respond to customer inquiries
· Liaise between internal support department and the customers to ensure timely funding of loans and efficient handling of accounts.
· Perform review of client documents for accuracy and thoroughness
· Complete all sales activity reports regularly for Director to review.
· Effectively coordinate with the PCS Branch to ensure quality personalized customer service.
Package Loan application
· Work with clients, underwriter and loan Department to submit a complete and timely loan application and loan registration so that the loan can be approved and client requirements can be satisfied with a loan approval.
· Package and follow up on loan applications which include CRE, Commercial line of credit, Multifamily, 1-4 home loans, HELOC, Construction and SBA.
Technical Risk Management
· Maintains appropriate controls to ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and guidelines.
· Adheres to audit procedures and compliance standards.
· Ensures that operating losses are within established goals. Implements risk management improvements as needed.
· Complies with all UCB policies and procedures.
· Ensures accuracy and timeliness on all report preparation and submittals.
· Works with Branch Operation Support team to maintain appropriate controls to comply with applicable regulations and protect bank resources.
· Ensures that loss exposure is minimized by operating within assigned limits outlined on authority card and Sales Service polices, and by making appropriate business decisions.
· Ensure team adhers to appropriate internal control procedures regarding the assessment, control and reduction of risk regarding waste, fraud, abuse and mismanagement.
· Exercise care/diligence in the practice of internal controls ensuring records, reports and related documents are completed.
· Utilize product and procedure manuals and attend on-going training sessions offered by the bank in order to maintain expert knowledge of all banking products and services.
· Atttend seminars, trainings (internal & external) in terms of operations and compliance issues.
· Train and coach Client Associates to become familiar with banking products and services, PCS service standards, and compliance materials.
Community and marketing event involvement
· Coordinate with marketing department, initiate social events or activities to enhance the company’s image to promote and develop additional business through the development and expansion of referral sources.
· Given back to the community by volunteer through various community groups
Skills/Requirements
- Broad knowledge of financial services products and services a must
- Minimum of 2 years experience in servicing High Net Worth individuals with commercial lending background
- Deep, strong network and client following
- Thorough knowledge of federal/state and IRS regulations, demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills are also required
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Self starter, able to work well independently and as part of an extended team
- Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 and 66 License plus CA Insurance License
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance
