Our cohesive infrastructure and delivery system provide a comprehensive, solution-oriented approach to specialty pharmacy and total care management.
As a Specialty Pharmacy Pharmacist Supervisor you will lead a team of Specialty Pharmacists performing duties including prescription order verification, patient and physician consultation, prior authorization clinical coverage review, and patient care to support disease and medication therapy management programs. Specialty Pharmacist Supervisor responsibilities include team and individual business goal development, performance mgmt to support business plan/goals, clinical support, team meeting facilitation, team schedule development and adherence, policy and procedure development and adherence, and quality assurance/continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of leadership experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible scheduling ability
- A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a Pharm-D degree
- Current Pharmacist licensure in Kansas without restrictions or licensed in another state with the ability to obtain licensure in Kansas through reciprocity within 6 months of hire date
- 1 year of professional PC experience (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Assets:
- A strong clinical background (hospital, specialty or home health is especially preferred)
- Experience in the following therapeutic categories Oncology, HIV/AIDS, Transplant, Hepatitis C, Multiple Sclerosis, and Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Residency, Fellowship, or Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist
- 1 year of professional PC experience (MS Info Path, Sharepoint, Access)
- Policy, Procedure, Program, and/or Education development experience
