General Summary: Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, the Medical Assistant performs and/or coordinates a variety of physician-directed patient care, medical record keeping and receptionist activities. This position requires ongoing communication with physicians and co-workers to meet client needs.
Required: High school graduate or equivalent and current medical terminology training. Medical Assistant with 1-2 years recent experience in clinical health care field. Current BLS for Health Care Provider. Approximately 6 months on the job is required to become proficient in all of the positions, duties, and responsibilities.
Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant.
Shift: This position is a M-F 8.
