PBGS is currently seeking a Print Production Manager for a customer site in Idaho Falls, ID
The purpose of this position is to support the contracted services: to provide a full range of duplicating/copying services and equipment to operate and manage 4 separate on-site duplicating/copying centers. Services include, but are not limited to, the following:
· High speed duplicating and copying in both black and full color
· Binding and finishing operations
· Distribution/Courier services
· Scanning and document conversion services
· User-level preflight and formatting
· Operator-level equipment maintenance
· Customer service duties
· Packing & marking
· Monthly and quarterly reports
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Follow all facility policies.
- Support the Quality Management System.
- Assist in developing procedures, work instructions and quality system documents.
- Participate in the Corrective and Preventative Action process.
- Support the implementation of quality assurance processes to reduce errors, decrease costs and improve productivity.
- Effectively collaborate with other PB divisions and major vendors to identify new technologies and capabilities to add value to customer operations and increase efficiencies.
- Ensure that all operational requirements, production controls and are established to minimize non-conformance exposures (i.e., injuries, low productivity, employee dissatisfaction, etc.) are properly executed.
- Ensures client expectations are met or exceeded as outlined in the client contract.
- Resolves client issues and maintains effective customer relationships.
- Implement new technology solutions to improve customer service.
- Responsible for expansion of services at existing accounts.
- Analyzes customer needs and operational capacity, generates complex management information reports and recommends effective solutions to achieve results.
- Coach and develop site management.
- Ensures contractual agreements and services are met.
- Acts as a consultant in the sales process and actively participate in proposal writing.

This is a short term position with Pitney Bowes, for a maximum of two years.
PBMS provides on-the-job training and structured training classes. New employees learn excellent customer service practices and study how to run mail, copy or fax equipment.

- Minimum 5 years management experience within a print or publishing production environmentProven track record managing people and projects.
- Strong production capabilities to leverage factory floor capabilities; capacity planning; job scheduling; increase throughput and productivity while managing and decreasing costs.
- Experience with desktop pulishing design and layout
- Fully capable of understanding the technologies available within the industry.
- Must possess a high caliber of customer service and satisfaction skills;
- Demonstrated leadership ability and goal oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Undergraduate college degree or technical degree preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to interface with all levels of management and front-line personnel.
- Self directed and able to work independently.
