Job Details Job Description Moves material by hand from machinery or loads or to machinery. Moves material or finished product from presses and machines to pallets or from pallets to machines.
Responsibilities Reads work order to determine which materials are to be moved. Loads and unloads materials from pallets by hand. Moves materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. Attaches identification tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers. Operates other finishing equipment as requested by supervisor or lead. Stacks materials into bundles and bands bundles together. Cleans work area, makes minor repairs, and otherwise assists the machine operators. May operate industrial truck, print wheel, or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials. May perform very basic clerical functions. Assists with set up of equipment. May lead or train other material handlers. Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies. Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned. It is the responsibility of all Solution Delivery employees to follow the requirements of their documented process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual. Required Skills The ability to work in a team environment is required. The abillity to perform all physical elements of position including standing 80%, walking 20%, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
