Physician Liaison for our Clinical Informatics Department

The Clinical Informatics iConnect Physician Liaison is a Bachelor degreed or higher in a clinical related profession, working under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Informatics. She/he must have comprehensive understanding of leadership , communication and education principles in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies and procedures. The Physician Liaison collaborates with Medical Staff, allied health professionals and their office staff, iConnect Educator, clinical analysts and any others, to plan and facilitate implementation and use of informational systems. This collaboration includes assessing, planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, troubleshooting and marketing informational systems for use in enhancing physician practice in the provision of patient care. He/she plans and provides hands-on training and support for medical staff, allied health professionals staff and their office staff regarding iConnect, physician portal, and CPOE(computerized provider order entry) learning activities as delegated by the Director of Clinical Informatics. Responsible for other projects as assigned by the Director of Clinical Informatics.
