Senior Research Administrator

The University of Houston (UH) is currently seeking a Senior
Research Administrator to serve as team leader for the research
administration team for assigned college units, and perform the more
complex pre-award and post-award administration of federal, state,
private profit and private non-profit grants and contracts awarded to
the University of Houston.

Additional duties include reviewing proposals to external funding
sources, from submission to award; providing guidance and expertise to faculty, department administrators and university executives on a wide variety of grants and contracts issues; developing, coordinating and implementing internal operating procedures for assigned team; maintaining the web-based proposal submission and research administration using ERA systems; negotiating the terms and conditions of grants and sub-recipient awards; auditing sponsored project accounts and evaluating expenditure documents according to federal, state and
university guidelines; provides research compliance training for faculty and staff, and performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with
experience and qualifications.
