Position Summary:
The Hospice Bereavement Counselor will be responsible for Bereavement Counseling or Pastoral Care. This individual will analyze and investigate, as well as provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise. This person will be responsible for the mechanics in the administrative; hitting benchmarks communicating with beareaved families and following-up as necessary. There will be a great deal of field work providing the couseling and support required for beareavement as needed.
The territory is Phoenix
Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Social Science, preferably Social Work, Psychology, or Theology
- Knowledge of Chronic Illness, and Bereavement counseling concepts
- Knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Assets:
- Knowledge of Hospice and Long Term Care
- Prior Ministry experience
