The main responsibility of this position is to unpack incoming merchandise shipment from supplies or returned by customers and to physically take the part and place in on the self or appropriate location in proper sequence in an accurate, orderly and neat fashion, ready for order pulling, and in compliance with prescribed stocking quota as set by management. Parts are stocked by numerical and alphanumeric sequence in each specific product line, thus the ability to identify sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly are essential.

Work hours semi-flexible. Perfect job for students.

1. Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numers with a HS degree or GED.

2. Must be capable of lifting and moving parts up to 60-lbs and push/pull 300-lbs using moving aids.

3. Must be able to move engine blocks and other heavy equipment with moving aids such as hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, etc.

4. Must be able to repeatedly bend or stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves (8 feet) with use of stool or ladder.

5. Must able to work on their feet (stand or walk) for their assigned work shifts.
