Experienced Consolidations Accountant needed for Global Company based in Arlington, VA
To perform accounting analysis and related procedures to facilitate the monthly balance sheet and income statement consolidation and close of company’s records.

Job Duties
- Prepare monthly closing schedules
- Perform analysis on monthly consolidated balance sheet and income statement
- Prepare monthly variance analysis write-up
- Prepare schedules and work papers as required for analysis
- Perform technical accounting analysis
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Analyze and calculate monthly performance measures
- Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned

Communication and Level of Contacts:
- Interface and direct contact with Regional Accounting Managers, subsidiary accounting personnel, other Corporate staff departments and external auditors
|
Level of Education and Experience Required:
· BS in Accounting or equivalent
· CPA required or candidate
- 2 - 5 years accounting experience, mix private + public accounting experience preferred
- Consolidation experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to use Comshare or other consolidation software desired but not required
