P & D DRIVER: AAA Cooper Transportation

Position Title: Pickup & Delivery Driver

Position Summary: To load, unload, transport and move freight by working on the dock or driving commercial vehicles between work areas (dock & customer facilities) in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with all federal, state and local regulations. Inspect equipment for defects and unsafe operating conditions before, during, after trips and submit written report on the condition of the unit at the end of each trip or run.

Requirements: (Full-time only)

• 21 years of age or older due to DOT regulations
• Possess a Commercial Driver License (Class A)
• Possess Hazmat, Doubles and Triples endorsements
• Have a working knowledge of all DOT regulations that govern your particular job
• Have the ability to work independently & form decisions based on surrounding environmental factors
• Utilize strong verbal and interpersonal skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have the ability to be certified as a forklift operator
• Be able to satisfactorily pass ACT road test
• Pass pre-employment physical assessment test
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, background check and DOT physical
