Job Overview: Create an atmosphere of cohesiveness with regional partners and collective drive targeted business needs. Key Accountabilities: Act as a change agent to improve consistency of store performance - Seek the reason for repetitive issues, develop methodology to eliminate these.
- Carry best practices information from store to store
- Push technology to reduce error rates
- Suggest improvements for operational effectiveness and efficiency
Develop strong action oriented shortage programs - Implement Merchandise Protection Standards
- Work with all levels of the store and regional organization
- Tailor program to individual store needs
- Layout objectives and establish needed team approach
- Ensure partnership between store and regional teams
- Provide and follow up on time/action plan in order to ensure programs are fully executed
- Use a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate the effectiveness of shortage reduction programs and operational standards
Raise shortage awareness - Drive b-way of awareness process in the region
- Develop training programs for all levels based upon store and regional needs
- Drive store shortage committee process
Provide measurement tools through the self and corporate audit process - Monitor data collection from self audits and outsourced data collectors
- Develop audit reports and work with store to analyze results and develop an appropriate actionable response.
Determine underlying causes of audit issues and develop action plans to address these issues.
Skills Summary: - 4 year degree focused on mathematics/accounting or economics
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and persuasive skills
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
- Ability to break a process into steps, and develop alternative processes
- Strong organizational skills, effective time management allowing for multitasking
- Quick learning skills
- Computer literacy - proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 1-2 years experience in marketing analysis a plus
- Prior retail experience required
