Job Description
Role summary: Support Plant Engineering with Conveyor and PLC projects, installation and trouble shoot, as well as support paint department manufacturing needs.
Role responsibilities: Communicate technical planning and issues with team, Interact with Engineers, maintenance members, peers, and supervisors, regarding specialty projects and initiatives on a daily basis, Manage daily schedule to key performance indicator optimization, Procure necessary materials and equipment for project timely completion, Harmonize corrective measures across the plant, Use predictive tools to eliminate parameter specification fluctuation, Quality and Downtime performance tracking and reporting, Supplier interaction and trial development, Ongoing problem solving with technical support to production group, Interaction with German support team, Benchmark best practice standards and ideas for implementation, Organize special activity for trials and new process implementation, Oversee Capital projects and budgets relating to them, Energy and cost reduction activities, Continuous improvements in Conveyors and operations.

Years of Experience: 4 years Paint Automotive experience.

· Experience in the following areas: Paint systems and conveyors knowledge, PLC logics, Device net, Lubrication systems, 4 year engineering degree or equivalent experience, TPM and PM planning and scheduling, Software CAD, Micro-station, office
· Knowledge of human/automation interface protocol.
· Project Management Leadership with >$1 million
Desired:
· German language capability
· Siemens’ PLC experience
· Project management, Budget control small and large capital initiatives.
· 4 years of OEM or Tier 1 Supplier conveyor experience
