Duties and Qualifications

SunTrust Banks has an immediate opening for a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Specialist. This person will provides a wide range of credit and sales support services to Commercial REFG Relationship Managers including: identification of cross sales opportunities, preparation of credit approval packages, annual reviews, renewals of complex credits, credit and non-credit proposals, coordination of loan closings and non-credit account set-ups. Acts as a secondary contact on client relationships. Coordinates credit and loan portfolio administration support for several Commercial REFG Relationship Managers. Reports to Commercial Banking Manager. Handles complex credit and sales support activities, assists in training or coaching of other Portfolio Specialists and is a senior individual contributor.

Minimum Requirements
- 7 years prior experience in commercial banking or commercial credit OR 3 years commercial portfolio management.

Preferred Requirements
- Graduate of a commercial training program OR 4 years experience on a commercial banking team as a commercial banker.
Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
