 ABOUT US:
Established in 1932, Deb Shops was originally known as Joy Hosiery, a leading retailer of foundation garments in and around Philadelphia. Today, the company has evolved to become a nationwide leading junior apparel retailer under the brand names DEB, DEB Plus, CSO, and Tops 'n Bottoms. There are over 300 stores in 40 states.
Beginning in the early 1960's, changes began to take place that would shape, what today is known as Deb Shops. First, the company's name was changed to Joy Shops and junior sportswear was offered at all of its stores. Second, the company expanded beyond traditional neighborhood and downtown locations in Philadelphia into the new shopping malls that began to permeate the suburbs. Finally, in the late 1970's the company purchased Deb, a New Jersey based chain of junior apparel stores that lead to our current name. The move marked the beginning of an expansion that would take us from local to regional to a leading national chain.
DISTRIBUTION CENTER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management position available in NE Philadelphia distribution center. Responsibilites include managing personnal and directing work flow. Duties include directing personnel in the processing of goods received.
Interact and coordinate with buyers.

- Proficient in analyzing and solving daily operational problems
- Experience in equivalent work environment including automated sortation system
