Summary

Responsiblities:

  • Works on the purification and functional characterization both of Alexion therapeutic targets and their associated reagents as well as therapeutic antibodies elicited against these targets.
  • Carries out both conventional and affinity purification and applies a range of characterization techniques to ensure the structural and functional integrity of protein products.
  • Detailed record keeping and organizational skills are required.
  • Must be willing and able to multi-task on several such assignments within a multi-disciplinary, collaborative environment and demonstrate an enthusiasm for learning and applying new know-how.

  • BS/MS in biochemistry or related discipline with 2-5 years experience in protein purification and functional characterization.
  • Expertise working with antibodies is desirable
