Protocol Officer

Responsibilities
NSA PROTOCOL OFFICER

The Office of Protocol and Corporate Events has two immediate openings for Protocol Officers to represent the National Security Agency on matters of social etiquette and business protocol, and provide support and counsel throughout the Agency to initiate, arrange, and conduct ceremonies, and receptions. In this position you will be responsible for the following:

- Planning, scheduling, and arranging high-profile visits by domestic, foreign, and private visitors.
- Planning, scheduling, and executing military and civilian award ceremonies.
- Performing occasional travel to off site locations to support organizational mission programs.
- Working occasional after-hour evening events.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience.
- Associate's Degree with 1 year experience.
- Experience in customer service positions.
- Computer/clerical/organizational experience.
- Experience organizing social events and time management experience.
- Experience working with executives and senior managers.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Intranet, Internet, Windows NT, NT Explorer, Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Basic budget and finance experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Far Vision Correctable (20/20 & 20/40)
- Hearing Aid Permitted
- Standing & Walking (hours)

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
