Job Description:
:
- Responsible for designing, developing and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
- Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, complete specifications and procedures for new and existing products
- Develop test software using LabVIEW
- Develop and document test hardware and software using computer based tools
- May be required to lead a group of Test Engineers in developments supporting test requirements as described, above
- Estimate time and material requirements for New Product Introduction (NPI) including Design Verification Test (DVT) and Manufacturing Test
Qualifications:
- BS degree in engineering field required
- Minimum of 5 years test engineering experience
- 5 years experience creating test plans and developing test strategies
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to interface with design engineering for resolution of product design issues
- Understanding of radio-based products; RF test experience
- Expertise in evaluation of designs for testability; Working knowledge of the fundamentals of testing at ICT, functional-board-level and unit-level
