Staff RN/Educ Specialist II

Job Description:

This position combines the responsibilities of a Staff RN and Education Specialist (I, II or III). This position ensures delivery of evidence-based practice by professional nursing personnel and other staff in designated areas of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Current registered nurse license from the State of Ohio.

Specialized Knowledge:
Knowledge in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. BCLS certification. Knowledge in the nursing process with expertise in adult learning and staff development. Some experience with Change and Systems Theories, Performance Improvement, role and team development and evaluation processes.

Experience:
One to three years clinical with some teaching

Additional Job Information

BSN and Ohio RN licensure required. Must be familiar with AORN protocol and orthopedics, as this position supports the Bone &Joint Center.
