Sutter Roseville Medical Center, a not-for-profit facility, is a unique blend of contemporary healthcare at its finest and a tradition of community service that spans five decades. In 1993, the hospital affiliated with Sutter Health. Sutter Roseville Medical Center has 270 licensed beds and is capable of providing technologically advanced healthcare into the 21st century. Housed in a 315,000-square-foot modern facility, Sutter Roseville Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Sutter Roseville Medical Center is a designated Level II Trauma Center serving a seven-county region that includes Placer, Yolo, Nevada, Sutter and Yuba counties, and portions of Sacramento and El Dorado counties. The Radiological Technologist provides imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients.

Education: ARRT Registered Technologist, {RT(R)} in good standing, or eligible to take the ARRT Radiography registration examination. BLS Healthcare Provider. State Licensure (CRT) is required. Fluoroscopy license as required by state regulations. Graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program in radiography.

Experience: Previous experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist is desirable. Prior work experience in an acute care facility is preferable.

Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable of technical factors and radiographic views. Understands radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to staff and patients. Able to recognize potential abnormalities and prioritize accordingly.

Special Skills/Equipment: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations.
