Director of Quality Management 71155

Banner Health, Arizona's largest healthcare provider is currently seeking a Director of Quality Management for MediSun. This position will be located in Sun City, AZ.

This position provides for effective operation of Quality Management Services department functions for the business or facility. This position manages significant clinical event investigations, peer review, decision support, coordination of regulatory and accreditation compliance and surveys (JCAHO, DHS, CMS, HSAG), patient safety process improvement, and all other required quality related activities. All work processed by the incumbent is considered confidential and protected from discovery, pursuant to ARS 36.445 and 36.441.

Requires Master’s degree in healthcare related field or experience consistent with Master's degree.

Must have a proficiency level typically attained with 5 years experience in patient safety/quality management. Requires at least 2 years management experience.

Must possess demonstrated flexibility in responding to the needs of multiple constituencies with a service-oriented philosophy. Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate interdisciplinary teams. Must also possess demonstrated skill in problem analysis, project management, conflict resolution and oral/written presentation. Requires ability to balance and manage multiple projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Tertiary care environment experience.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

HEDIS experience is a plus.
