Our client is a leading online advertising network and technology company. Their network connects high quality, brand-name publishers with Fortune 1000 advertisers. Also, their proprietary technology offers top-tier publishers an ad network management platform to create their own branded, vertical ad networks. This enables both brand and direct advertisers to reach greater results through sophisticated audience targeting technology, including contextual, behavioral, geographic and re-targeting.
We are conducting a search on behalf of our client for Online Account Executives. One position is based in the San Francisco office and the other will be based in the New York office.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities, qualify prospects, and work through sales cycles to close new account business
- Travel to meet with prospects and clients as needed
- Build strong relationships with agencies and advertisers to ensure long-term success
- Manage new and existing client campaigns to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations
- Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas and how to generate results.
- Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction
- Participate in industry events and conferences
- Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities
Requirements
- MUST HAVE – at least 2 years of online advertising industry experience from either ad sales or media buying perspective
- Willing to travel to build/grow agency and advertiser relationships
- Active in industry trade and networking events
- Excellent business writing, training, communication, organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
- MUST HAVE – strong experience with MS Office a must
- Good analytical skills in both understanding marketer objectives and analyzing sales performance
- MUST HAVE – BS degree
