Position Description:
Positions in this function are responsible for planning, creating, and producing marketing communications/promotional materials to implement product marketing strategies and sales objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities involved in the preparation of advertising, sales promotion and publicity in support of the marketing of company products
- Consult with product management, sales and internal/external organizations to develop and implement plans
- Analyze and investigate
- Primary contact for assigned health plans as it relates to member-focused materials
- Develop comprehensive marketing and member communication strategies for assigned health plans
- Interface with other member facing departments such as care management, members services, and member outreach (HARC) to ensure consistency of communication
- Provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise

- 2 years of experience working in a marketing role is required
- 2 years of experience working on a project from start to finish is required
- 2 years of experience writing corporate or marketing focused documents is required
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Bachelors is required; communications, journalism, or marketing
- Minimum of a year working in healthcare insurance is preferred
- A working understanding of Medicare and Medicaid is preferred
- Some familiarity with graphic design software such as Quark and Photoshop desired
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work well with others
