General Manager over a regionally located Product Service/Repair Center.



JOB PURPOSE: Act in a General Manager capacity over a regionally located Product Service/Repair Center. Act as Service Liaison overseeing a geographical District of Retail and Rent-to-Own stores, and various Product Repair Customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the repair and maintenance process of consumer durable goods and other products
  • Oversee the center’s fleet operations, facility maintenance, and human resources functions
  • Perform financial and statistical analysis of the service center as it related to the current plan
  • Ensure that a high level of efficiency is maintained in the center
  • Hire, train, develop and evaluate exempt and non-exempt personnel
  • Monitor and maintain positive co-worker attitudes and effective payroll productivity for the Service Center
  • Maintain excellent communications with internal and external customers, vendors and manufacturers
  • Additional duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successful management experience in the service related industry
  • Highly developed interpersonal management skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Proven ability to delegate and follow up
