SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER. This person will be responsible for project managing, monitoring and coordinating all team efforts leading to product releases, providing a single point of contact and keeping the cross-functional team on task and target. This person will work with the Development, Product Management, Marketing, QA, Operations and third-party vendors to ensure a smooth and seamless release of products and services. This person will be responsible for driving projects to completion and helping to document key decisions and project progress. This position will be based in our Provo, Utah office and report directly to our VP of Product.

Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:
  • Assume responsibility for tasks, timelines and reporting on key projects and drive those projects to completion
  • Run cross-functional team meetings, identify milestones, risks and issues and drive them to resolution
  • Manage product planning process involving Product & Development organizations
  • Oversee the overall project release calendar for the group
  • Setup and maintain operations support processes for managing service providers
  • Build positive relationships and trust over time through strong on-time delivery, high quality, continuous innovation, and by exceeding expectations
  • Must be able to hold team members accountable while maintaining positive relationships
  • Enforce change control processes and ensure quality project/product delivery
  • Report project status regularly to other internal stakeholder groups
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a Software/Internet company
  • PMP certification is helpful, but not required
  • Proven experience successfully releasing software products to market
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to develop and monitor project schedules and timelines to meet critical milestones
  • Effective communications skills (written and oral), presentation techniques, meeting mechanics, and team building skills
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience launching new concepts or startups a plus
  • Must be enthusiastic and energetic!
