Director, Patient Access


Sharon Hospital, located in the picturesque
northwest corner of Connecticut, is a 78-bed
acute care facility. Currently we have the following
position available:

Director, Patient Access
(full-time position)
Supervise and coordinate a variety of functions
within Patient Access Services relating to, but not
limited to: pre-registration, benefit verification,
pre-authorization, admission/registration, service
pre-payment, and financial counseling. Bachelor's
degree in Business, Healthcare or Information
Management. 3 - 5 years in Patient Access Services
and/or Patient Financial Services. Strong oral, written
and interpersonal communications skills. Ability
to analyze and problem solve. Strong customer
service. Proven leadership skills with planning, budgeting
and fiscal management.
