PROGRAM MANAGER - Experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with background working with stepper motors, brush and brushless DC motors or related engineering discipline and/or motor industry.
Primary Job Duties:
- Coordination of technical issues and communication with the factory
- Technical support of US customers and sales force
- Program launch management of assigned customer accounts
- Lead development of new products for US market
- Ability for value added ground up design and vendor sourcing
- Hands-on experience working with customers on application, development and problem solving
- Communicate with division engineering, factories, customers and sales staff
- Report market trends, changes, and new development possibilities
- Travel up to 40% mostly domestic; occassional international travel
- Provide technical training to customers, value-add resellers and sales staff
Experience Required:
- Bachelors Degree, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 Years experience with stepper motors, brush/DC brushless motors or related engineering discipline or motor industry
- Motor design or application engineer experience
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background with driver/controller knowledge a plus
- Computer Skills: MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, SolidWorks/3D Modeling
- Good communication skills
- Bilingual English/Japanese a plus but not required
