Surgical Technician



Performs a variety of duties in the OR to assist the surgical team, under the direct supervision of the RN. Primarily function as a member of the sterile team creating, maintaining a sterile field, set up instrumentation and hand off to physician or surgeon. Work closely with physicians, provide service to the "physician customer" to provide excellent patient care.

High School diploma or eqivalent. Certification in Surgical Technology preferred. Medical terminology required. Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile technique required. One year of previous experience preferred.
