Accounting Operations Analyst: Stage Stores Inc.

Provide support to accounting operations related to financial performance initiatives, reporting and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare reports and analysis of current performance metrics for distribution to merchandising and other departments to enhance the Company’s ability to identify economic opportunities.

· Provide support and assistance on profit improvement initiatives.

· Development of reports using Oracle, Discoverer and other systems.

· Participate in new systems initiatives.

· Prepare monthly reconciliations as assigned.

· Work on special projects as assigned.

Skills Required:

· Bachelors degree in accounting or finance (experience a plus)

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

· Oracle system, Merchandising, or Store Operations experience a plus

· A good team worker who can also work independently

· Creative thinker and problem solver

· Ability to work under pressure of deadlines

· Strong analytical skills and good organization

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
