Epic Learning Training Consultant: Higher Ed Holdings LLC

POSITION TITLE: Epic Learning Training Consultant

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To train teachers, school and district administrators on the effective use and application of the Epic Learning System. To support and promote Epic products and services to schools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

§ Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)

§ Valid Teacher Certificate

EXPERIENCE:

§ Must have classroom teaching experience (secondary experience preferred)

§ Must have experience in staff development (technology training experience preferred)

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

· Skills in formulating ideas and communicating effectively

· Able to use a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel

· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

· Working knowledge of effective classroom management and instructional techniques

· Knowledge of effective adult learning strategies

· Ability to “read” an audience and adjust instruction/pace/depth accordingly

· Skill in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating effective professional development for professional and administrative staff.
