Job Title: Behavioral Specialist

Job Description:

Under the supervision of an assigned Residential Director, the Behavioral Specialist is responsible for the daily implementation of the program's philosophical and treatment models. Through the Behavioral Specialist's nurturing, role modeling, and limit setting, a stable consistent, structured living environment is maintained. Such an environment affords clients the opportunity to replace their maladaptive behaviors with more socially acceptable ones. A Behavioral Specialist may be employed on a full time, part time, or fill in basis. Specific shifts are assigned by the Residential Directors. Although a Behavioral Specialist is generally employed to work a particular shift, changing client or programmatic needs may require Residential Directors to adjust shift assignments accordingly.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma; Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university preferred, although not required.

Direct experience with adolescents in a residential or other group care setting for a special needs population preferred, although not required.

Job Type(s): Full-Time Part-Time

Compensation: Up to $12.54 hourly to start (varies with degree\experience) with 6 month and annual increases; 85% paid family or individual health\dental, on and off site training, 401(k) with employer match, tuition assistance, paid leave, life\accident insurance

Hours per week: Variable – Full time\Part time\Fill in all available
