Transportation Clerk

The Ryder Corporation is looking to add a transportation clerk to the night crew. This individual must be able to work evening shifts (3-10), Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. After January position goes full-time with the Ryder Corporation.

A minimum of (2) two years of transportation operations experience is preferred.

Responsible for 65 drivers making delivers to CVS stores in the Tri-state area. Must route drivers to specific locations along with any scheduling mishaps. Strong communication with store managers as well as CVS managers located in the Lumberton Distribution Center. Responsible for daily spreadsheets using Excel.

Working hours: 3-10

Intermediate skills in MS Excel, such as freezing/unfreezing panes, hiding/ unhiding data, setting print titles & page breaks, linking workbooks, creating external links, re-directing links, customizing toolbars & menus, protecting a worksheet, filtering options, and chart formatting options.

Basic level skills in MS Word, such as opening word, creating a new document, applying basic character formatting, changing font and font sizes, highlight text, saving and editing the document.

Intermediate skills in filing, writing business correspondences and communication

Duties of this position include: interacting truck drivers and with the distribution associates.

Must be able to work in a distribution center in Lumberton, New Jersey.

Must pass criminal background check, 5-panel drug screening.
