The Document Messaging Technologies Division of Pitney Bowes, Inc. is seeking a Onsite Systems/Service Customer Service Representative to support large/complex pieces of inserter equipment and sophisticated software for a single customer location. These machines are 60% mechanical, 20% electronic, and 20% software driven.
Responsibilities Include:
- Will maintain and repair Pitney Bowes Inserting and accessory equipment.
- Proactively schedule and perform preventative maintenance
- Trouble-shoot customer reported problems
- Proactively monitor, schedule, and prioritize tasks to maximize customer satisfaction
- Manage a queue of calls to ensure that customer is contacted within the established guidelines, and that incidents are closed in a quality manner within the established guidelines.
- Manage parts, tools and administrative duties.
- Work in a high performance team environment
- Build and help strengthen strong customer relationships
- Plan and perform equipment upgrades and new installations
- Required to work shift schedule as needed and overtime.

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment onsite
- Experience using electronic trouble-shooting equipment
- Proven technical knowledge with computer hardware, Windows NT, and networking
- 1 year proven experience in building and enhancing customer relationships
- Management and leadership experience of other technical personnel
- Swing arm inserter experience a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to produce quality results
- Strong communications (written and verbal) and customer relation skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and telephone skills are required
- Positive attitude and commitment to excellence
- Strong team skills
- Strong planning, scheduling, and prioritization skills
- Ability to lift and/or move items up to 40lbs. or the maximum allowed by current State Law with or without accomodations
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time with or without accomodations
- Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and weekends (shift differentials provided accordingly)
